I thought I would start my first post with a picture of a friend from work...This guy hangs out in one of the palms behind the office! Wow...Most offices have stray cats....I have an exotic bird! If you ever come see me....You will get a loud screech as soon as you step out of your car! Little things in life are great!
It has been 2 weeks now. I am still trying to get acclimated to my new surroundings. It's not as easy as you would think... To run off and change your life....Or... Get that new start that everyone dreams about. The hardest thing for me has been to leave my son Christian behind. His mother takes wonderful care of him, but it is still very hard. He will come down for the month of July. I can't wait!

I love the view from the back porch! This is one of the best! This is where you will find me from about 6:30 to 7:00 each morning with a cup of coffee in hand. A good way to wake!
