Where have I been???!!!

I know...what a bad blogger! We moved into the new building with business going well....then we move into this recession! Great! I had to turn 3 accounts over to collections and 2 went bankrupt. I have just now been able to get out and call on some new accounts. Thats what its going to take to recover! Things are getting a little controllable now. Work has taken over most of my life...so I'm told...This is about to change!
The first thing I did was get my mountain bike down from the wall and hit some trails! Yes, mountain biking is pretty big here in south Florida!? After taking say...8 or so years off...saddle sores are normal...right???

My old bike from 1995...a Balance with suspension forks...has been great. But its time for an upgrade. I sprang for the new Cannondale Rush 5 full suspension. What a bike!

Let's see what else? Bands I have seen: Saving Able(fellow Mississippians), Hurt, Filter and Days of the New(again). If you ever get a chance to see Travis live...GO. Awesome musician!
I went to Nashville 2 months ago to see mother. All is well in TN! I drove this time...it was nice...a lot of time to think and just relax! Last month, flew into Ocean Springs...stayed the weekend. Saturday was MADO (Mississippi Association of Dispensing Opticians) annual summer meeting. I went with Superior. It gave me a chance to see many old friends I have not seen in over 2 years. Monday, I borrowed Jon's truck, then drove to Meridian to pick up Christian. We stayed with Wiley and Crystal (thanks guys) for a couple of days. I had a chance to see Christian play his last baseball game of the year! We caught a red eye home later in the week. He will be with me until August 3rd. He has been here for 2 week and we have already gone to the beach, camping, rode some trails and kayak. He's met some guys his age. This is nice for the days I am at work. He will call me around 9am every morning to tell me he is up...within a few hours...he's in the pool!
