Mets Baseball Camp!!!

I signed Christian up for baseball camp with the St. Lucie Mets. This is the New York Mets farm team and spring trainning field. This was a great opportunity for him. The camp lasted 3 days. He said he got some great pointers. He also got baseballs signed by all the players that help coach him. One is up for the Mets!

Sail away to Key Largo...or just drive a Jeep!!!!

Last weekend we drove down to Key Largo...Topless! Not such a good idea in hindsight...I left the 50lb(each) steel doors behind! It was a lot of fun on the way down...but with driving into one of the hardest rains I have ever encountered...I should have taken them! I will order soft doors soon! We drove into Key Largo around 3pm Saturday. Its only a 3 hour drive. We got a room at the Ramada on US1 mile marker 100. Everything in the Keys is referenced by a mile marker. That afternoon we went to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (mile 102.5). This place is amazing...If you have a camper...bring it! I set up a charter for Sunday morning snorkeling! Wow! This was my first time to go out...it was like swimming in an aquarium! Great times!

Central Florida Airboat Gator Tour.

Black Hammock Airboat tours...just outside of Orlando. Christian has wanted to go on an airboat for a while. I chose this one because it runs on one of the most gator populated lakes in the area. It was cool. Loud...but cool! Christian wanted more high speed 360's like you see on TV...but...he had a good time! Our desire for live...in the wild...gator viewing is now complete!

It was about 3pm...see the rain!

Dave Matthews Band in West Palm Beach!!!

This was Christians first concert ever! What a great way to start...with DMB!
A very cool show...one reason...because Tim Reynolds was playing. My first time to hear him live. His style of playing was a little different this time...he had more of a Texas style rock flair going on. LeRoi Moore is not touring with the band because of an ATV accident last month. He is listed in good condition now. Must have been a jump!!?? Taking his place is Jeff Coffin of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. He has a little more aggressive style of playing. Butch Taylor left the band this year...so no keyboard. Dave played piano for a song. Even with all of these changes and different people....the show was full of energy! Can't wait to see them again!
