Here I go again!

Good Times, Good Friends!

Wiley & Crystal flew in Friday afternoon from Meridian, Ms. It was the first time I have seen them since I have moved. They actually helped me move....Just think they came back! It was nice to talk with someone I have history with. They flew into Orlando Friday afternoon. We left the airport and went over to City Walk in Universal....Could not pass up another chance to eat at Hard Rock. Saturday we hung out at Jensen Beach. We ate lunch at Crawdaddys...Then walked along the beach. Crystal added a few shells to her collection.
Saturday night we went to the Improv in West Palm Beach. Charlie Murphy was performing. It's cool to see someone from TV in person. You may have seen him on the Chappelle show, Harlem Nights, Kings Ransom, Mo Better Blues or stand up on HBO. It was a great show. The Improv is not a very big venue....Everyone had a good seat. After the show we walked around City Place Shopping Village....Where the improve is located....Saw a live Spanish Guitar performance by Nicholas Marks. Then sat and people watched from the Blue Martini. It was a great night!



















Sunday on the way to the airport we went to the "world famous" Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach. Its like the Bass Pro for surfers!!!! Very cool place! It beats Alvin's Island any day(sorry Gulf Coasters)!
Sunday was also the big 37! Wow......So when do I have to stop using the phrase "when I grow
up"? I'm just going to go with it!















Well...It was a great weekend with good company....Now its back to the real world.

We are given gifts everyday......Sometimes we may have to look for them.....No matter how simple or common.....It is still a gift!

Life consumes!
Well, Christian is home...And has already started school! It is hard to think that they start so soon. I can remember...(this soo sounds like a parent statement) we didn't start until after labor day! To make that statement even worse...our rooms did not have air conditioning...So in thought...we could not have started before then. If we would have the mortality rate for back to school would have been horrid! He has signed up for football for the first time. He is stoked about the chance to play. He will do great! He has been pushed to try things from his mom and I...This is the next step...Soccer.....Then baseball...And now football. He has picked the number 18 from the famous Manning dynasty...(with no influence from Keri)...He hopes to carry on that southern football heritage....Go Rebels!
I have been staying busy...So quiet around the house without an 11 year old. I have been hard at work. The new and improved Eye Care Center, Inc. Catalog is finished! It is back from press with very few type-o's! I have finished loading the price list into the computer system...So pricing will be automatic...We hope! This is why I have neglected the posting!
Last weekend I was able to take in Dave Matthews Band live in West Palm Beach!!!! All I can say is WOW! What an awesome show! The last time I saw him was in 98 at Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans. This show was much better! Sold out both nights....I went Friday.
