What a Great end to 2006!!













Well...Where to start? Lets start with Thanksgiving...How about Key West!!! I am not going to try to boast but....I have worked very hard for this day. I started the holiday season with this trip. What an amazing sunset! Yes, I took this picture...Its not from National Geo!!!
I stayed in Key Largo the first night. The only reason I did was because the local radio station played "Sail away to Key Largo" ever half hour(back in the day). Boy...that dates me! Key Largo was a very quiet, small coastal town. Not too far removed from were I am from. Just more salt water! I drove to Key West the next day. I really like Key West...It really reminds me of New Orleans...But cleaner and safer! The reason it reminds me of New Orleans is the old world architecture. This will have to be the start of a tradition. For Christmas I went to Meridian,Ms. Picked up Christian...Then drove to Nashville,Tn. Stayed the week with mother.

New Years I just laid low...It was nice considering I had just drove 2400 miles! I had such a good time with family this year...Maybe it was because I have been gone for so long? For whatever reason it was just great quality time! 2007 started out very stressful at work. I hate it when people just will not work with you...We all have worked most of our lives in some capacity or another...No matter what position you are in...We know what we need to do! Just do it! I had to let a lady go after being with this company for 10 years! She just could not let the past go! Every day we should get up trying to improve ourselves! That's just what I think...Is that so far removed? I don't think so...Specially if you want to do anything with your life. I have hired a guy who I had befriended early on. He is a licensed Florida Optician...That alone will make my life so much easier. He knows what is going on. Looking forward to the rest of the year!
