Florida Theme Park Tour 2006!
Well we have been on a ride(pardon the pun)! I have not been to a park since 1988...So the past two weekends have been a change for me also. First we went to Busch Gardens in Tampa. I will have to give it a thumbs up! This park has a little of everything to see and do. It has the huge world famous coasters, water rides & a lot of exotic animals. I must also through in the awesome Gardens...Hence the name!!! There is still something about taking your child's picture in front of the King of Beers mascot! But my mother took mine in front of probably the same horse! Must keep up the tradition! The next park was Universal Studios in Orlando. I thought this was going to be more to this one. Not that it was bad...Just not what I had expected. They only had a few rides. Most of what they had was shows. I-Max, 3D,4D & live action theaters. It actually was nice on a hot weekend..Most of what I mentioned was inside!!! I will have to say (Christian did also) Busch Gardens rocks! So those planning a trip....Tampa is better. Be sure to stop in St. Pete while in the area...Must see the pier(thanks Diana). I had the chance to take in the Hard Rock Orlando....I found out...is the largest! Very cool! He is so proud. This is the first time he has had his very own room(of this size). I upgraded TV...So he got my old one. This sounds bad...But...It's a 32inch Sony! Not a bad hand-me-down! We went to an outlet mall in Vero Beach. He looked at every color & pattern of comforter in several stores. With so many choices...This is what he came up with(see pic). I will have to say it makes me feel good also...Just being able to give him what he wants(within reason). That is one of the reasons I am here. I will have to say...This time with him has been some of the best times we have ever had together. I'm blessed in so many ways!
